Mythology series: Veles

 

This is a four-halfpan set of handmade, homemade artisan quality pure pigment watercolours, part of my MYTHOLOGY SERIES, autumn 2021.

VELESH was the protector of fields, cattle, farmers, crops and meadows

The set contains:
- Sunny Jungle Green, a lovely emerald, smooth, even green
- Amber, a very bright ochre with yellow shining through a little bit
- Forgotten Ruby, a very dark red, almost burgundy-brown, with an even darker sediment, mildly sandy
- Shamrock, a very bright leafy green with a pinch of sedimentation, leaving a neat darker green rim

The set comes in a little cardboard box.
