Mythology series: Morana

 

This is a four-halfpan set of handmade, homemade artisan quality pure pigment watercolours, part of my MYTHOLOGY SERIES, autumn 2021.

MORHANA was the Slavic deity of the underworld, darkness and winter.
The set contains:
- Manganese black (a soot-like dull black)
- Sleepy purple Indigo (a very blue-purple, dull smooth colour)
- Winter (a bright grey-blue, pale mix with heavy dark gray-purple sediment) GRANULATING!
- Rough blue (a dark ftalo blue, but intense.)

The set comes in a little cartboard box.
